Thornberry animal sanctuary |
|
Thornberry is a medium sized animal sanctuary that operates a NO-KILL policy. This means that they do not put any animal to sleep unless it is cruel, due to medical reasons, not to do so. All animals taken in by Thornberry are always given a fighting chance; animals that are turned away elsewhere often find a home at Thornberry......
Thornberry is open to the public between the hours of 11.00am and 3.00pm, and callers are always welcome to come and have a look around. They have lots to see, including Dogs, Cats, Goats, Pigs, Horses and even some polecats. They have a café for visitors to have a little snack and an old barn full of bric-a-brac. The Sanctuary is situated on the B6463 east of the A57 between Todwick and Dinnington
