tallest registered breed of dog is the Irish
Wolfhound, and the smallest is the Chihuahua.
The Basenjii breed is the only dog which doesn't bark unless taught to do so!
The fastest breed of dog - and fastest land mammal is the Greyhound.
Dogs that do not loose their coat are the poodle and the Bichon Frise
The average dog lives for around 13-15 years, but this is rising with improved veterinary techniques.

UK, but this increases as more dogs are imported from abroad into the
